our ward had a chili cook off the other day and the winner of the cook off was none other than my roommate, lindsey craft! as a reward of sorts the bishop and his wife invited us to go stay with them up at their beautiful cabin in fairview. we left friday night, drove out there to the cabin, ate chili, played nertz, watched the singles ward 2, giggled, ate breakfast, hiked/4-wheeled, climbed a ginormous rock(which i may or may not have fallen off of, but at least i got back up!), threw rocks at (fake) deer, went out in the crazy mega 4-wheeler, played with bishop's dog buddy, ate lunch, napped, watched tv and headed home. it was so lovely to be out in the wilderness, to get to know bishop & carrie, to 4-wheel up and down and around the mountain side and to just have a blast. seriously, it was soo much fun!
the walkers were sooo generous and i'm so grateful for all that they do for us & for the awesome weekend that they provided!
